“Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.”
Psalm 62:8 NKJV

Dear Beautiful,

With so much on your plate, living life can get pretty tough and stressful. Things can pop in and cause you to lose hope or even want to give up in your Christian race. Today, I am speaking over your life that you will survive it. Whatever it is that you are going through, God will turn it around in your favor. No weapon formed against you shall prosper because God is on your side. Now you may be wondering,

Well when will that be? When will I for once, not have to struggle or deal with so much stress and drama? I have too many bills, my children’s father is stressing me, my schooling is becoming a nightmare, I am tired of being single, and why are so many people gossiping about me; why can’t I just be happy?

I do not know beautiful, but God knows. God sees what you are going through. God has a special jar with the number of tears you’ve cried, a jar for every heartache you've had to face, and for every wrong done to you. He is not leaving you on your own. He definitely isn’t pressing ignore to your prayer calls to Him. God is simply at work. He’s been at work for you before you were even born. God has a plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11), but what if that plan for you right now in this season is to keep you in that situation? Would you trust His meaning behind that crazy plan?

See God loves you so dearly and doesn’t want you to suffer, but He also doesn’t want you to become weak; running from everything. Yes God wants you to call on Him for everything, but He also wants to strengthen you. God knows if He pulls you out of the situation now, you won’t fully learn the lesson behind it. You have to trust God and His way of handling things in your life.

God wants to use you, remember last week’s devotional was about being the light, the chosen one. How can you be a light for another if you don’t have any wisdom? You have to go through things! How can you say you fully know the works of The Lord, if you don’t trust Him and His ways?

Before God can really use you, He has to prepare you. So He will allow things to come into your life that He can use to build you through Him. He wants to build your faith, He wants to build your character, and He wants you to come out with wisdom and strength to endure whatever comes next.

So He knew all of this would happen. He even knew half of the situations you end up in, will be the result of your poor decision making; but God is still God and He still loves you. He knows what is best for you. He knows the situations you are in. He also knows what can come from overcoming them. Trust that He will turn them all around for your good, if you just hang in there and allow Him to change your perspective on the situation.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.” Isaiah 43:2 NKJV

One day it will all make sense. One day you will thank God for allowing you to go through the things you went through. One day you will come across people who are going through what you've already been through and because you trusted God, you came through alive and will able to share your wisdom to help them out. If you quit or give up, you will be risking what God has for you at the end of the struggle. You won’t be of any use if you give up.

So maybe… just maybe God has you in that situation still for a reason. Maybe He hasn’t removed it out of your life yet because He sees potential strength in you that you have yet to tap into. If only you would trust Him instead of satan’s lies that you will never make it out, you will never get a good man, you will never live out your dreams, and you will always live pay check to paycheck. Stop listening to Satan. He is a liar! Listen to God… He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6), He will always provide for what you need (Matthew 6:25-29), He will reward you greatly if you keep doing what is right (Galatians 6:9), and if you persevere you will reap a great reward of eternal life (James 1:12).

One day it will all make sense. Until that day arrives, TRUST GOD and His Word and don’t give up!

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5 NKJV
