“...give me your heart, And let your eyes observe my ways..”
Proverbs 23:26 NKJV

Dear Beautiful,

God wants something, and that something is your heart. Yes, God wants your heart. He wants to work a miracle on that fragile wounded piece of beauty. He wants you to allow Him to come in and remove the impurities, the sin, the hurt, the pain, the toxins, the rejection, the regrets, the unforgiveness, the insecurities, the hate, the jealousy, the lust, the fear, the doubts. He wants to rid you free from the excess baggage that's been lingering deep in your heart for way too long. He wants to give you a strong heart in exchange of your toxic heart. You see, He wants to renew your heart, then build a special protective shield to help you guard your heart once renewed. Why? Because everything you do comes from your heart (Proverbs 4:23), whether it's intentional or unintentional. God knows all of what you have been through and it’s important to Him that you are healed before you continue on in life. He doesn't want you going into another relationship with that broken heart that feels every person is the same and out to hurt you. He doesn't want you building a new friendship with envy and insecurities. He doesn't want you going into a new job or stepping out in your calling when you still have doubts and don't know your worth. All of these things have to do with your heart.

So let God have your heart, give Him all of it so He can take everything that is causing it to function incorrectly and create in you a new heart. Allow Him to purify it but in order for Him to truly do that, He needs your permission to come in; so let Him in.

Remember that it's important that we daily seek and pray for our hearts and minds to be renewed. Trust God, and trust that He will take care of your heart. So pray right now, and ask God to create in you a new, clean, and pure heart.

"Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me." Psalm 51:10
