In ten days time we’ll be heading to Genesis Christian College, Youngs Crossing Road, Bray Park for the Bromeliad & Tropicals Show & Sales on Saturday 6 April from 8am – 4pm and Sunday 7 April from 9am - 1pm.

Exciting...but it’s also about spreading the word. At the last Show we doubled attendance and sales. We’d like to do the same again. Can you help? It’s really quick and easy:

  1. Go to Facebook and share the event. Ask your friends and kids to share also. https://www.facebook.com/events/1931315966904631/
  2. Know any millennials – kids, grandkids? Ask them to share on Instagram and Snapchat.
  3. WeekendNotes is a popular Brisbane events website. We have a big advert, but the more likes our advert gets the more people will read it. So please click though to https://www.weekendnotes.com/bromeliad-tropicals-show-sales/, scroll way down and hit 'Like'.
  4. Forward this email to your friends. Details about the show are shown below.

Regards and many thanks,
Joy Constantino and Tom Isaac

Come spend the weekend exploring bromeliads and tropical plants where garden inspiration is everywhere.

Bromeliads have attractive leaves and clump which means they make great ground cover, equally they can be grown individually in pots. They are epiphytic so are often found growing in trees and on stumps. Depending on the variety, bromeliads can take full sun, part sun or total shade and are high survivors. Their flowers are stunning and long lasting.

Presented by the Bromeliad Society of Queensland, our experienced growers will be sharing their luscious gardens with you. Purchase all types of plants from bromeliads and tillandsias to tropicals and indoor plants, starting at only $5.

The Society is proud to support local schools where all proceeds from the Monster Raffle will be donated to the Pine Rivers Special School’s Horticultural Program.

Growers and volunteers will be at the event to offer advice with books available for purchase. Not sure how too look after bromeliads? Attend the Bromeliad Basics information sessions on at 11:30am on both days.

Admire the plant displays and competition plants where you’ll see these plants at their colourful best. Family friendly with plant-minding and refreshments available.

Whether you are a green thumb or novice gardener, there is something for everyone at the Bromeliad & Tropicals Show & Sales.
