HomeLister Raises $4.5M for Commission-Free Real Estate
HomeLister, the digital brokerage and real estate platform that allows homeowners to list and sell their properties online, announced that it has completed a $4.5 million seed round of funding at the end of August 2020. The funding round was co-led by MetaProp and Homebrew.

With the new funds, HomeLister plans to beef up its technology and marketing efforts, put more resources towards growing its market share, launch an updated website with new tools, and introduce the HomeLister service to new markets.

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, HomeLister has been able to save its clients $17 million in commissions. "We had been searching for a technology platform that could truly empower sellers with the digital tools they needed to transact efficiently," said Zach Aarons, Co-Founder and General Partner at MetaProp.
