We’re thrilled for our portfolio company Urbint for having closed their $60 million Series C fundraise. The timing couldn’t be better for Urbint as they are at the intersection of infrastructure and climate change.

The United States experienced twice as many billion-dollar disasters in the four years leading up to 2019 as it did in the 40 years prior to 2019, and most utility assets are 60-70 years old despite being designed for a 50-year lifespan. This, coupled with a $1T infrastructure bill bringing unprecedented new spending on climate resilience and infrastructure overhauls, is causing massive tailwinds as Urbint's customers look to them for help with managing operational risks.

This funding round will enable Urbint to scale its technology, expand into new markets, and introduce new solutions to meet rising demand.

A big congrats to Corey Capasso, CEO at Urbint, and his team!
