MetaProp portfolio company Join announces $16M Series A to help construction project stakeholders empower better decision-making through collaboration.
Join, a decision-making platform for architecture, engineering, and construction closed a $16 million Series A round. The round was led by SignalFire and included participation from MetaProp, Ironspring Ventures, Building Ventures, and Standard Investments. The fresh capital, which brings the company’s total raised to $30 million, will be put toward “doubling down” on market expansion and expanding Join’s product, according to CEO Andrew Zukoski.

Able.ai exits stealth with $20M to help big lenders speed up making high-value loans
A startup called Able has built an engine to speed up the processing of documents and other data required for commercial loans (typically $100,000 but sometimes up to $100 million in value), which it sells as a service to banks and other lenders. Rayon Raises $2M in Pre-Seed Funding
Rayon, a Paris, France-based space design software provider, raised $2M in Pre-Seed funding. The round was led by Seedcamp, Foundamental, 20VC, and Kima. The company intends to use the funds to grow its team, refine its product and launch its offering in October of 2022. Read More.

Canada's Brookfield Asset Management said it had raised $15 billion for its first impact fund focused on the global transition to a net-zero carbon economy. The fundraise comes at a time when investors and lawmakers across the globe have been questioning businesses about their environmental and social impact amid calls for companies to lower their greenhouse gas emissions.
