SSO Dedicates 736+ Hours Preparing for UCPath

Last year, 18 individuals (20% of SSO staff) took on the following to support our customers and UC Davis:

  • Mapped and validated HR & Payroll actions (i.e., process design)
  • Joined the Pathfinders to share UCPath news with colleagues
  • Got certified as UCPath trainers
  • Prepared for I9 Tracker and TAM
All of this work helps to ensure we continue delivering timely and accurate services for you. We'll continue to keep you updated about changes that impact you as UCPath Go-Live approaches - April 1.

Q1 SSO Feedback Is In

You spoke, we listened, and now we're implementing some things. The Q1 18-19 SSO Survey Feedback is posted on the SSO website. It's clear from your responses, that we've got some work to do around communicating process changes with UCPath. Challenge accepted—it's part of our commitment to continuous improvement! Please look for our Q2 survey sent out last week.

Executive Director Search Update

Finalist interviews for the permanent SSO Executive Director recently concluded. We hope to have good news to share in our next issue!

UCPath Direct Deposit Campaign

After UCPath, paper paychecks will not be available locally. Instead they WILL BE mailed to the employee's home address from Arizona. Direct deposit ensures the employee gets paid ON payday. Employees are encouraged to sign up for direct deposit now! If you already receive direct deposit, you don't need to do anything. Visit the UCPath site for more details about payroll access and options.

Deadlines and Calendars
