Stardust Foundation Grants $1 Million to First Place®AZ

Awarded by Jerry Bisgrove, chairman and CEO of Stardust Foundation, the $1 million contribution is advancing a $21.3 million comprehensive capital campaign of which $15 million is dedicated to the development of First Place-Phoenix. In recognition of this contribution, the Stardust Garden is being designed as a central feature of First Place-Phoenix. It will include organic gardens used in the culinary teaching kitchens and many colorful, flowering plants. Read more.

First Place®AZ Looks Up to Find New Housing Solutions

First Place®AZ is working hard to ensure housing options for adults with autism and other special abilities are bountiful. This video features our December 2016 groundbreaking, called "Looking Up...The Sky's the Limit." Interviews with participants, board members and collaborators are included. Watch the video.


Progress at the First Place-Phoenix, Catalina Site

Thrilled to see progress being made at 3rd Street and Catalina thanks to hardison/downey construction and RSP Architects, we're on track for a Spring 2018 opening.

First Place to Host April Symposium

First Place Leadership Institute is hosting a symposium April 26-28, sponsored by its Center for Real Estate and Community Development. The symposium will include workshops and tours of the supportive Phoenix community. Watch for more information.
