First Place AZ has broken ground on a new $15 million residential property for adults with autism and other special abilities with a one-of-a-kind approach to combining apartments, a residential training program and a national leadership institute to advance more independent and community integrated living options. First Place’s Capital Campaign Progresses

Joe Cooper Appointed First Place CFO/COO

Joe Cooper brings a wealth of executive management experience and expertise in organizational development and licensing. Spanning 30 years of financial and business leadership, Cooper has consulted with numerous start-up companies and served as executive vice president of a NYSE-listed company. He is a founding board member of First Place AZ and formerly served as the board’s treasurer.


Ford Expands Hands-On Training Program for People with Autism

Ford Motor Co. has expanded a hands-on program that gives people with autism the chance to gain work experience with the automaker.
