Joys of July!

We've been trying out something new at the farm.  We are now having the WEDNESDAY MARKETS actually on the farm! You can't miss us from the parking lot! I hope you all find it fun to come up and check it all out while you get your produce!

This past Saturday, the wonderful Leslie organized a workbee garlic harvest! It was an amazing success and I am very happy to announce that, thanks to Leslie and the volunteers, we will have fresh garlic for sale at both markets this week!
We also have more cherry tomatoes and hot peppers ripening and ready for market!

I made some calendula oil for myself this week, I especially like rubbing it on my arms after harvesting squash. I followed a loose recipe like this one. Later this week I will also add pineapple weed flowers and plantain leaves to my oil concoction! You can come get some calendula flowers at the farm this Saturday :)
