Advanced Group Leader Training

Some places have become available on the next Group Leader / County Commissioner advanced training course which takes place in Larch Hill Scout Centre on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th March.  This is the final part of training for the GL/CC and is required if you hold the position of Group Leader or County Commissioner.  Please note you must have completed the basic course before you book on to the advanced.  Any queries or questions, please contact Alan Murphy by email
GMIT Mayo Campus

GMIT Mayo Campus have two programmes on offer this year. The Level 8 BA in Outdoor Education is a four year programme containing an exciting mix of training in adventure sports and interesting subjects such as psychology, environmental studies, teaching and facilitation skills and safety management. This degree programme would be of particular interest to those who would like to work in organisations such as scouting.
