Advanced Group Leader Training

Some places have become available on the next Group Leader / County Commissioner advanced training course which takes place in Larch Hill Scout Centre on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th March.  This is the final part of training for the GL/CC and is required if you hold the position of Group Leader or County Commissioner.  Please note you must have completed the basic course before you book on to the advanced.  Any queries or questions, please contact Alan Murphy by email

Rover Scouts, a once in a lifetime challenge awaits you!
Spend ten days on the road, fully immersed in a different culture. Covering at least 200km on foot, completing projects and living through an experience that will challenge you.

National Cub Scout Challenge
The Challenge will be a fun and inclusive activity that encourages Sixes to participate, with or without Scouter support. This year packs are being tasked with looking beyond their Cub map. Each Cub should look at the big open sky and ranging mountains to the back of their map, they should look at the tall ship sitting offshore ready to set sail on the 7 seas. What new whole world can you find? What are you waiting for, go and explore new worlds and show your creative ideas at the 2020 National Cub Challenge!
Information will be circulated to County Commissioners and Cub Section Leaders shortly.
