yo...snap out of it!!
written by: Jim Hornor

Has anyone else felt like January and February have felt like a big winter "..sighhh" ?  Whether it's just the weather, lack of motivation or not feeling on your a-game at work, it's tough to snap out of a funk.  We work in a passionate field of some creative geniuses - we shouldn't have an excuse to feel "meh" - but it happens to the best of us.  The solution is not to feel guilty for letting yourself get down, but it's looking at your strengths and building up your self-esteem and self-worth to get back on track.

Whether you're into group activities or riding solo, cycling is a great way to switch up your workout routine, meet other people and with the music, and energy of your instructors, it's a sure-fire way to boost your mood!

Climb or bounce your way out of those winter blues...if you can't make it out of the house, gather your roomates or family and have a dance party. It'll either feel awkward or amazing - either way, it'll make a memory and put a smile on your face.

Summer planning and trips add up - take a dreary bleh day that you have nothing planned for and tackle your finances - it'll feel like a work-out, but everyone could use from a little more financial freedom.

Making food and sharing it with friends can be such a great way to spend time and uplift spirits :)  Try out a new appetizer, get a new set of desert plates or champagne coups. It'll help mix things up from the mundane.

Nature is always inspiring us in one form or another - if a winter getaway isn't in the cards for you, check out an indoor garden experience locally.  Even a little trip outside the city for a little winter hike on a more temperate day, might help give some skip to your step.
Send us some of the ways you welcome positive thoughts as we anticipate Spring!
