Recent Events

October was a great month for events and workshops with CUNY Tech Prep. We learned about Technology Development Program, Job Search best practices, and had a great conversation about Ethics in Technology. We look forward to collaborating with more professionals to bring these events to our CTP Fellows!

Success Story

Kareem Edmonds (CTP Cohort 6), Multimedia Computer Major and senior at Brooklyn College recently landed a role as an HBO Max Growth Design Intern with WarnerMedia. Kareem says, "I'm always looking for the next big way to continue my passions in design and multimedia. This was my second time applying to this company and without the help and support from CUNY Tech Prep, it probably would have been my second time getting rejected."

Student Spotlight

Anastasiya Uraleva

Anastasiya is a designer, developer, and traveler currently pursuing a CIS degree at Baruch College. In her work, she explores the possibilities of combining programming and creative design. After graduation she aspires to pursue a career in the software development industry where she can build meaningful products that improve people's experience with technology.

Rafi 'Omar' Miah

Omar is a Computer Science major at Queens College and the founder/instructor of CraftCode - a tutoring service that teaches kids practical coding and game development using Python, JavaScript, and Unity. He is excited to work on social good projects and uncover patterns of the world in order to discover the truth and tell stories by using data. Omar is eager to begin a career in Data Science.
