Last month, Blake Finn, a Software Engineer at Snap Inc. presented a workshop on technical interviews. Our fellows learned what type of problems to study, how to approach practice problems, pattern recognition for common solutions, and how to evaluate their progress along the way.
Here are a couple of takeaways from the technical interview workshop:
- Become familiar with types of questions and build intuition on how to approach problems.
- Almost all technical interview questions fall under 6 to 10 common themes, including strings, arrays, linked lists, stacks/queues, trees, and graphs.
