New Year, New Art!
Join us for January Gallery Hop

Brandt-Roberts Galleries is pleased to announce that we have five new artists joining our roster in 2018! We will be showcasing selected works by these five artists for January Gallery Hop. We will also feature new works by our stable of contemporary and post-war artists.

New Artists at Brandt-Roberts Galleries
Jane Carney
Chicago, IL

Jane Carney is a Chicago-based artist and teacher who works in large-scale mixed media. Her practice relies on an ongoing reciprocal dialogue with figurative abstraction in both drawing and painting. She has a Master of Fine Arts from Loyola University and is a member of the National Association of Women Artists.

Teri Dryden
Louisville, KY

Teri Dryden's unorthodox path to becoming an artist began with theatre, performing in the Ringling Brothers Circus, and becoming a stage actress. After taking an art class, she found a passion and talent for painting and drawing and has since worked as a professional artist, currently based in Louisville, KY.

Jeffrey Hirst
Chicago, IL

Jeffrey Hirst is a Chicago-based artist with an MFA from Louisiana State University. His work is created by building a surface using encaustic and oil on shaped wood panels. The pieces investigate the relationship between man-made architecture and the natural landscape.

Jolene Powell
Marietta, OH

Jolene Powell is a Professor of Art and Director of Gallery 310 at Marietta College. Her recent body of work is inspired by the Nes International Artist Residency in Iceland that she attended in fall of 2016. Jolene's paintings are created with meticulous detail and sophisticated color palettes that render a dream-like landscape.

Nick Reszetar
Milan, MI

Nick Reszetar is a Michigan-based artist, currently teaching at Nevada's Truckee Community College. He works primarily in drawing, painting and photography. His current work focuses on drawing the figure, where he questions psychology, identity, and interdependence.

Want to join us for Gallery Hop, but concerned about parking? The neighborhood has many options, including a parking garage located approximately 50ft. from the gallery! A handy graphic regarding parking in the vicinity of the gallery is below. Valet services are also available at many of the Short North restaurants, and you do not have to patron the restaurant to use their valet. For example, the Guild House valet (about 40ft. away) is available to gallery clients even if they are not going out to dinner.
