We are delighted to begin offering a selection of kits featuring our signature Fidalgo Artisan hand dyed yarns and patterns at our online shop.
First up is 'It's a Swirl!', our Puget Sound LYS Tour 2019 knit pattern. 'Swirl' is a wonderful introduction to lace knitting, intuitive and meditative once you get going. With minimal shaping and beautiful beading, this is a fun knit for both intermediate beginners and more advanced knitters.
Our 'Swirl' kits include a skein of Grace (100g, 51% Cultivated Silk, 49% Merino, 441yds), beads and beading hook, and of course a copy of the pattern.

Shoreline Cowl with Fran Jepperson. Our Shoreline Cowl can be worn a variety of ways for a variety of occasions. Make it in our Rustic Silk for an elegant warmer-weather accessory or in our Radiant DK for a cozier feel. In this class you will learn several different cast-ones, how to incorporate beads into your work, how to put in a lifeline, and more.
Required materials are one Radiant DK or Rustic Silk, 24” US6 or 7 to get gauge, and about 55 4mm beads and beading hook if desired. This is a 1-session class and will meet Saturday, July 27th, 10:30am-12:30pm. Class fee is $25.
Cold Mountain with Emily McNeil. Cold Mountain, a beautiful pattern by Kieran Foley, can be worked up as a beautiful scarf or wrap. But even more, its geometric shapes and clean lines make it a wonderful way to begin to truly “read” your knitting — and charts! We discuss optional beading, different variations on the pattern, and more.
Materials are 1-2 skeins FAYC Halo (50% Wool, 50% Alpaca, 100g, 440yds) and US5 24″ needles. This is a 2-session class and will meet July 25th & August 15th, 5:30-7:30pm. Class fee is $50.
