Since our graduation, we stayed in Missouri to let our kids finish out their school year well. This time proved to be very useful for a myriad of other things that we needed to get done too.
Yesterday, we returned to our "home base" in Pensacola, Florida. Devon's parents have graciously allowed us to become a part of their home for the next 7 months. Super thankful!

We have entered our next phase of ministry, called ministry partnership development (MPD). In short, we can't GO without being SENT by a support base of prayer warriors and financial partners. God is not limited on resources. Afterall, He paves His streets with our most precious natural resource. Yet, just like He primarily chooses to pursue the lost through His Church, He also primarily chooses to SEND His ambassadors/witnesses through His Church. Remaining in a constant state of dependence on God is actually a very healthy place for us all to be, both as senders and as goers. So we invite you to link arms with us as co-laborers. Check out our blog at the bottom of this email for more info.
Preparing to go to Papua New Guinea involves a few extra pokes and pricks. Kids were brave getting blood work done to find out their G6PD statuses and blood types. (Devon and I were brave too, btw ;-)
Our boys recently enjoyed playing in a local soccer league. So fun to watch them really get into it! This is Jackson's team (he's 3rd from the left).
A couple veteran missionaries have encouraged us to replace the term "goodbye" with "see you later". Semantics?? Maybe. But it sure is easier to say. And in the missions community, it's actually quite true. From an eternal viewpoint, it's even more true amongst believers. So, here's a picture of one of our many "See you laters..." (with U-Haul loaded).
See our timeline below...
Prayer Requests:
  • That we will walk humbly with Him today, tomorrow, and the next day...
  • For the health of our marriage and the discipleship of our kids.
  • For God to continue to raise up a partnership team around us in His timing and in His ways, as we prepare to go to PNG in January 2020, Lord willing.
  • That God will prepare the hearts and minds of the future people group we will be working with (we don't know who they are yet).
  • That God will orchestrate the formation of our future church planting team.
  • For laborers for the harvest (Luke 10:2)
