Improved course quality and delivery.
Over the past year we have been reformatting our GOLD Project Courses. Working with a professional printer means that we can provide courses to student groups within 10 days of ordering the folders. We hope that you like the new course folders with tabbed separators for each block and improved print and paper quality.
New Groups
It is always great to see new groups starting alongside our existing groups. In the Autumn, new groups started in Fleet and Oxford and new courses started in existing groups in Birmingham, Bristol, Colney Heath and Preston. In the Spring term, new groups are starting in Churchill/Congresbury and Windsor while new courses are starting in Bristol, Cheddington and Colney Heath. We hope that there will be new groups starting in St Albans Diocese in the Summer term alongside our existing groups.
Study Days
As part of our focus on encouraging learning in groups, Study Days provide the opportunity to meet with students and tutors from other groups to engage with a topic that is not specifically dealt with in our courses. Our study days seek to provide input from experts as well as the chance to interact with the subject for ourselves. Study Days are open to all, including those who have no prior connection with the GOLD Project.
Enjoying Matthew
We are grateful to Christ Church Bedford for hosting our Study Day in November 2016. David Wenham led the day on Matthew's Gospel. Those who attended enjoyed having the time to focus on some of the unique features of Matthew and seeing the significance of Matthew's message for today. Feedback from all participants was positive. Afterwards, one person commented 'a big thank you for arranging such a truly wonderful day! David W.'s talk was his usual wonderful feast of insights and encouragements, lots to feed off for some time to come.' If you missed the day, a link to edited recordings of the sessions can be supplied on request from info@goldproject.org

Farewell to Ann Voss
Ann Voss has been tutoring students in Ware and Hertford for many years. She now feels it is the right time to retire and so will be stepping down as a Tutor at the end of the present course in Hertford. We are grateful to Ann and all our other Tutors who give their time and energy to enabling others to grow in their faith.
