The Annual General Meeting of Open Gardens Canberra Incorporated will be held:
at 7.30pm on 15 August 2016
at the Hellenic Club in the City, 13 Moore Street, Canberra City.

Nominating for the committee
All 11 positions will be declared vacant and we need to fill them all.
The committee is primarily concerned with governance and management of the association, including financial management, maintaining membership records, publicity and managing volunteers. The committee has no role in selecting gardens and only plays a small part in developing the open gardens program for the year. We rely heavily on email communication so committee members will need regular access to email.
Please download a nomination form from our website. If you don’t have anyone to nominate you, please come to the AGM. We’ll have nomination forms on hand and we’ll find you a nominator.

Open Gardens Canberra 1st birthday party
Open Gardens Canberra became an incorporated association on 8 May 2015 and we're celebrating! We have opened 14 gardens to the public and gained over 500 members in only one year.
Members and guests are invited to stay on after the Annual General Meeting to celebrate the first birthday of Open Gardens Canberra. Birthday cake and drinks will be provided.
Before the real partying begins, we’ll be thanking our Garden Owners, volunteers and the Hellenic Club, and we'll be celebrating our 500th member. Then we’ll have one or two short presentations about gardens.
Numbers will be limited because of the venue and it’s essential for you to RSVP for catering purposes by 3 August. Please use Eventbrite to book your ticket(s). It's easy - just click here

Your membership renewal
If you joined towards the end of our Autumn this year, your membership will continue until 31 August 2017.
For everyone else, your membership is due for renewal on 1 September this year.
