As we fly towards the finale of the World Cup, we’ve reminisced all the emotions of the last few weeks. A highlight for us, besides England's amazing run, had to be the bold retro kit of the Nigerian football team.

Inspired by the Eagle wings of their classic 1994 shirts, this colourful interpretation became somewhat iconic throughout the tournament. What we loved most was how this design effortlessly aligned with the mood & swag of a nation & ultimately elevated them to soaring levels of popularity.  The design sold out immediately, demonstrating the power of design as a business asset.

The sun is shining, London is sweltering.  Perfect time for a summer cool off.
If you’re looking for a classic outdoor swim spot, Brockwell Park or Parliament Hill Lidos are definitely firm favourites. However, for the more adventurous, the West Reservoir Centre in Stoke Newington offers a great alternative wild swim to the more traditional Hampstead Heath Ponds.

Also, if you manage to escape the capital & find yourself in deepest Cornwall, the Jubilee Pool in Penzance shouldn't go a miss for its elegant art deco design. For further inspiration check out this great book, Liquid Assets, which highlights some of the nation's outstanding architectural lidos.

An alien trapezoid has landed & Hyde Park's Serpentine lake became the final destination.

This temporary barrel sculpture by Christo, named 'The London Mastaba,' represents the life’s work of both himself & his late wife Jeanne-Claude. Stunning reflections are made from its colourful mosaic sides & its unforgiving form creates an intriguing physical presence to the leafy park & city beyond.  If you haven't already seen it, watch this brilliant film.

A transient landmark given freely to the beholder, it’s an inspiring gesture & a great weekend outing. While you're there, why not take a quick dip in the Serpentine Lido.

Colour is a hot topic in the office at the moment – from Goldsmith Street front doors to Park Hill Facades - we are always looking for colour inspiration, such as Oliver Wainwright's new book, which offers a rare glimpse inside the worlds most secretive country.  When North Korea opens its doors we’ll be the first on the plane to visit these pleasing pastel palettes.
