A Loving Response at a Time of Global Crisis and Fear

This is an unprecedented time for all of us. In our lifetime we have never seen or experienced a time like this.
We have been asked to, mistakenly, "social distance," which for many has become social isolation. In reality we need to physically distance to help stop the spread of the corona virus. What we need now more than ever, is to see that we are all in this together as a community and to find social connections in new ways.

For most of us, the reality of the easy spread of this untreatable virus and the continual daily life adjustments have bred great fear. Renunciation is a way of freeing ourselves from the endless cycles of struggling with wanting – the root cause of suffering. It is the art of doing less rather than more. 

In this workshop we will endeavor to calm the mind and find new ways of understanding what is happening in these times so that we can have a more loving and more appreciative way of relating to what is happening in this very life.

Myofasical release is…. Releasing the connective tissue woven between and around the muscle and is what wraps are muscles and organs to our skeletal system.

Learn how to release stagnation and tension from the body. Use simple and effective exercises to clear and soothe your system. Develop a home practice from the techniques you learn and create variations to serve your needs.
The practice will end with a guided meditation to clear blockages from the body and mind. Making space for restoration and nurturing of the systems.

Tools for Uncertain Times

We are living in a time of extraordinary change.
Not only week to week, but day to day.


Our way of life changing so rapidly it’s hard for the mind to keep up, often leaving us anxious. That sense of not being in control. Uncertain. We each have tools right inside, available to help us reconnect to our center at any time. Breath and meditation are two such tools.

In this workshop you will practice a number of different breathing patterns that calm the nervous system and provide a still point, keeping you grounded while riding through this current storm. A simple guided meditation will follow with breath as the focus.

The workshop will end with a guided deep relaxation and savasana, leaving you with an inner sense of peace and a better connection to this moment…..which is perfect.

We understand that routine and normalcy is everything these days so we have done our best to get our livestream schedule as close as possible to our in-studio schedule. So take your regular classes, but, maybe try a new class as well!
