Welcome to the #ShopOliver Gift Guide – where you can give back by supporting your local businesses that help bring great products & services to the Oliver Community. We've selected our favourite items but these local shops have something for everyone and range in prices to fit everyones budget.
Use the #ShopOliver hashtag when posting on Instagram/Twitter if you want to feature other great businesses in our community, or when you visit a business listed inside.
Your support saved the Oliver Pool & Oliver Arena!
Thank you for filling out our survey and getting your voice heard! We took your feedback to City Council and they voted to continue operating Oliver Pool and Oliver Arena!
For now, at least. We still need your help! Keep reading below.
Oliver Residents! The City of Edmonton has launched the final round of public engagement to develop a recreation plan for Oliver. The three separate surveys are open until January 3. Make sure you share your thoughts on the recreation needs in our neighbourhood. The City is asking residents to prioritize ideas they've already heard, but also to identify anything that's missing.
Recreation is not just physical; it also includes social, intellectual, creative & spiritual pursuits that enhance individual and community well-being.
The Oliver Community League has been advocating for a recreation master plan for our community for many years. We have recently created the RecreACTION Committee, that looks at all recreation in Oliver, including developing a new league building. If you would like to join the committee, or want to know what OCL recommends for recreation, reach out to our Hall and Recreation director at hallredevelopment@olivercommunity.com.
The Oliver Community League is looking for your input on what types of events you would be interested and comfortable attending.
We'd appreciate it if you could take a few minutes and fill out this survey to help guide us in our event and activity planning.
Last year we met our goal of 500 memberships and this year we are aiming for 600 memberships. The new membership year began on September 1 and the OCL currently has 187 members. Help us achieve this goal by signing up or renewing for FREE on the OCL website.
By joining the OCL, you help support the League and our community. 2020 has been a challenging a year. By supporting the OCL, we in return are better able to support you!
