The OCL Board has one crucial vacancy, our Garden Director role. The Garden Director is responsible for:

  • Coordinating the operations of Peace Garden Park 
  • Leading the Peace Garden Park Committee
  • Managing any garden related improvement projects and advocacy, including exploring a second garden location
  • Acting as a liaison between the garden and the OCL Board

If you love gardening and are skilled in working with people & leading teams, we'd like to hear from you! As a bonus for their volunteer work, the Garden Director is guaranteed a plot in Peace Garden Park. The waiting list is currently over 2 years long otherwise!

On TUESDAY, MARCH 9th 7:00PM join chartered professional accountant Paul Wright to learn: how to reduce your taxable income, the difference between a tax credit and tax deduction, and strategies to minimize the overall tax you pay.
