Invite: White House Briefing Call

This morning, UFA was asked to share the following invitation with our members.  The briefing call is today at 10 AM Alaska time.

On July 24, President Trump authorized payments to U.S. commercial lobstermen impacted by retaliatory tariffs levied against American lobsters sold in China. The relief package was expanded to include additional seafood and fishermen impacted by retaliatory tariffs. At President Trump’s direction, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has made $527 million available through the Seafood Trade Relief Program to ensure impacted fishermen are made whole again.

To receive a briefing on President Trump’s Trade Relief Program, please join the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs and the Office of Public Liaison today, Wednesday, September 9, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time for a briefing call with Senior Administration Officials.
