How's it going my friends,
Check out this short video to hear about what has been happening since January this year.
I have been in Utah training two mission teams, preaching and teaching in the churches, and organizing our ministry in Fiji. I'm super excited for the extension of our influence, both in Fiji, but also in our growing capacity to host mission trips so others can experience the joy and challenge of serving in the village.
This week I was talking to Pastor Taniela, one of our native leaders and village pastors, and he told me he was nailing boards on all the windows of our hut and building in preparation for some heavy storms.
Tonga was hit with Cat 5 winds and experienced destruction similar to the devastating hurricane that hit Fiji two years. Luckily the Storm energy of "Hurricane Gita" missed us and everything is okay.
I'll be flying back to Fiji a week from tomorrow, Feb 22. Then a week later our first mission team of college students will arrive.
Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed financially toward Mission Fiji. Our resources are supporting village pastors, serving single mother families in the village, and supporting me each month so I can continue to serve in these capacities. Every donation has been significant and I feel very honored to be the "hands and feet" part of this ministry. Every person involved in Mission Fiji helps make the engine run. Thank you!
I hope you can share the experience with us as we post new stories and photos of our upcoming adventures. I pray God fills you with eyes to see, and love in your hearts to serve the people in your life. Love you guys!
