My Friends,

We're back on the island! We landed in Fiji May 9th and have somehow seemed to avoid slow-paced "Fiji-Time".

We are back teaching in the village churches, helping in the elementary schools, and distributing first aid kits and medical supplies to families. I'm really excited to be back involved in the community.

Thank you for being apart of the mission family. Great things happen together. I hope these photos and social media can help you experience more of the journey.

Sincerely,
Seth Coleman and the Mission Fiji Family

Home Making.

Our Bure hut survived hurricane Winston. So that was awesome:) Now we just had to dust it out and start making the inside livable for our mission team.

The empty hut.

With the help of our carpenter friend Joe, we ordered materials to design a room and make some more space.

Finished!

5/26

We made a bedroom, office, living room, and upstart loft to sleep in. It was so fun to see the creation come to life and now we have our first house for ministry.

The day after we finished my mom arrived and had a bedroom ready for her. I was pumped.
Office and bedroom.

After living in other peoples' houses for over two years... it feels so good to have a home.

It might be small (16ft by 35 ft) but it is just what we need.

I'm so grateful for a good desk to write and study. A place to come and rest the mind, and a home we can invite others into!

I know this will really help our ministry be more effective.Thank you to everyone who helped us resource our ministry base!

Help us build a bathroom
We are now trying to buy a water tank and build a bathroom. Currently we have to walk about 250 yards to a nearby church to shower or use the toilet. If you would like to help us, you can donate by clicking the button. Thank you!

(Write in the memo "for the bathroom and water tank")

Our Team

Heather Matthison and my mom, Stephanie Coleman are here together during June. Its awesome because Heather is a nurse and my mom is a massage therapist, so this has opened up a new avenue for us to serve the villagers physically.

Abi Yager who is also involved with nursing will join on June 16th.

Jackson Coleman, my brother will be here until September.

Elementary Soccer Tournament.

The school next to our home hosted a soccer tournament with 8 other schools. There were so many kids!

Heather was helping do medical checkups.

Mom was getting to know all the families. That baby was so shy around us, but lit up when mom was with her. So funny!

Heather's Blog.

"I've been in Fiji for 11 days. How did that happen? My days have been filled with learning the culture and living life the Fijian way. Our bure is situated on the top of a hill that over looks the ocean, the view is magnificent. Every morning I wake up, look out the window, and attempt to take in God's creation. Just down the hill..."
