Many Huichol people live in the rugged hills of Nayarit

This is just one cottage industry waiting for an entrepreneur,
but for now, I will take your order for the next trip.

Favor is for Colaboring with God
some highlights

**Kathryn's ministry has been well-established with Casa de Niños, De Joven a Joven, and the church in Tepic (many congregations).

**The water system (cistern, pump, switches) for Casa Grace was cleaned and upgraded at a big discount once the workers found out Casa Grace's mission. The next minor project is propane to the hot water heater. The next major one is a roof for the back porch and kitchen.

**A team is growing to start a BSSM, Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (Spanish subtitiles on the first year's DVD curriculum, and student manuals in Spanish) in Tepic. Three solid leaders and a location are found. $1500 to get the first two month's materials and salaries for two would help it launch until 20 students tuition' can fully support it. I can see that dream team joining with a Bethel student team in 2016. With your  prayer and help I can send the curriculum south with Kathryn in January.

**Huichol bead art has been finding a market in the north. My next trip down, the artists will have the personalized cards and labels with their photos that I made to market them here, so they can build more local and international business. We need more distributors and buyers up north.

**There are now TWO people who are supporting the Casa Grace projects monthly, bringing support to $50/mo. God is so good! The gracious purchase contract will be $500/month for 7 years (hopefully sooner), and the $5,000 down is already waiting. Thank you! If you want to be a regular supporter, ask me about the various ways at Contributions count towards a complimentary stay at Casa Grace.

So much of God's favor was packed into six weeks in Mexico last summer, that it won't all fit into  bullet points.

You've already heard about the English Language library I saw in Mérida. Boxes of books are waiting here in Oregon for their move south. I started a new revivalists' Spanish library for the Maranatha congregation like the one at my own congregation in Tepic, REDIME.

I returned to Oregon expecting to sub teach and do homesteads as usual, but I got a great position teaching at Family Solutions a day treatment center for seriously emotionally disturbed kids.I'm awed that they have many of the same issues as the kids at Casa de Niños. I'm blessed to be with a wonderful team. Please pray wisdom for me and healing for the children.

As Christmas vacation fares rose while waiting for Casa Grace's necessary paperwork, word came that it will be yet a few months more AFTER the vacation before things are settled. I decided that airfare for a too-short trip could be better used elsewhere, even though my heart longs to be with the church there, His Bride. She is beautiful here, too, so I am content. We are One with them. A BSSM curriculum in Spanish (see sidebar) may be more useful than my presence.

Starting to work with the Huichol bead artists expresses one of my core values for Casa Grace: nurturing cottage industry to help people become creatively self-sufficient. Although none of these artists will be a part of Casa Grace, a small import-export business could be a very instructive and productive project for a young woman living there. A hard part of having vision for me is communicating what I see. I'm learning that demonstrating the vision gets it across best: what a lot of work! Rogelia's folding label and Iris's card pictured in this letter are 2 of the 12 artists I featured with their art in Montana. I'll surprise them with the results next trip in Tepic. Anything our hands find to do can be unto the Lord and can carry His Presence.

Thank you for sharing your lives with me, and letting me share mine with you, and ours in Him.

Bernie Weigand

This is one of the cards I designed for a Huichol artist. Huichol are one of the indigenous groups in Nayarit. Some of Casa de Niños'children are Huichol.
