So much is going on in my life, as in yours, too, I’m sure. I’m amazed at how many plates I’m juggling, how full they are, and how peaceful I feel in the midst of it all. This must be the “abundant Life.” Thank you, Father! How is YOUR life going? “May the Lord Jesus Christ and our Father God (who loved us and in His wonderful grace gave us eternal comfort and a beautiful hope) encourage your hearts and inspire you with strength to always do and speak what is good and beautiful in His eyes.” (2 Thessalonians 2:14-17, Passion Translation)

First, there’s my son Jake’s and Angelica’s wedding celebration in May-- in Costa Rica-- for a week-- on the beach! All other travel has been adjusted around that beautiful family fun, so my return to Tepic is not set yet, but I hope to bring a group of educators down for Spanish Language Immersion lessons in July or August. It will be such a joy to share my Mexican friends with them and to teach Spanish where it’s real, individualized and interpersonal. Interested in joining us? I have an informational flyer to help you plan.
So far, the “engine” for my 23 years of Casa de Niños and Casa Grace projects in Tepic has been my homestead and rental, plus the prayer and contributions of a few great friends. I’m working to grow these resources and connections with the Lord’s help, my Best Connection. I’ve begun the process of creating 3 lots from my 2, so that the rental can sell and I’ll have one lot free and clear. The city has approved and the re-plat survey is in process. Next come final approval, bank release and filing with the county assessor. Had I known … I’ll spare you the details. The sale of 3781 Hilsinger in Phoenix, Oregon (see Zillow, whose “zestimate” doesn’t account for the attached apartment) will buy my own home’s first garage in 22 years, and the much-needed new roof with attic space, PLUS launch projects in Tepic that have been long-waiting. Having made a book, I figured a book-signing would be appropriate, so I set up an event, “Walk Into a Book” March 3rd, (above). It morphed into an art show, too, so please do drop by t before, after or during the event. I am still busy framing and hanging pieces from 40 years of work, and surprising even myself with how great they look in a professional presentation.

Casa Grace continues to be available on Airbnb for those who want to serve the caregivers at Casa de Niños or elsewhere in Tepic. After “Walk into a Book,” I plan to launch a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for Casa Grace’s purchase, $65,000, so that the house will continually support the children’s caregivers, under the umbrella of Service Synergy, our non-profit. Once launched, Casa Grace will be more than self-sustainable. (If you want to start listing with Airbnb AND boost our Airbnb business, you can say I referred you by using this link )
It's time to enjoy burgeoning Spring and to flow with the Life breaking out everywhere. There are miracles to watch and also to perform, (with His help and yours, of course!). Thank you for letting me spill some of my platesful of creative activities into you. Tell me what you're thinking ~ Bernie
