With hurricane season underway, The Hillsborough/Orange County Chamber of Commerce would like to take a moment to remind everyone to plan ahead, be smart, and be safe.
While we only anticipate heavy rainfall and wind in Hillsborough, storms can change quickly, and we should all be prepared for these changes.

Rain or shine, Hillsborough Art's Council last Friday's art walk is still scheduled to take place this Friday from 6-9pm! The event will only be canceled if the conditions are dangerous, be sure to check social media and their website for updates!

Delicious Drizzle D's Donuts will be at the North Carolina Seafood Festival this weekend! If you attend, be sure to stop by for a sweet treat!

The "Rainy Days" art exhibit opened yesterday at Margret Lane Gallary! be sure you stop in and see all the beautiful rain-inspired images.

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS


Orange County Schools Career and Technical Education partnered with the Culinary Institute of America to teach Orange High School food+nutrition students a lesson about chocolate and its role in culinary history! 
Orange County Schools CTE offers lots of educational opportunities like this one that allow students to explore new pathways. You can learn more about OCS CTE by visiting their website!
