Outdoor spaces are an extension of our living spaces but are so often ignored when renting a property. You don't need a large space or a large budget to make it a welcoming space, but either way it should be dressed up. Why waste valuable space that could make your home look even more beautiful.

I recommend keeping it simple with a black, green and white theme. This creates a large impact without overwhelming the space or clashing with the internal interiors.

Investing $$ in lighting outside holds equally important weight to spending the budget on plants and furniture. Add uplighting in the planters and you have extended your living space and made it beautiful both day and night.

If your space is small, collapsable furniture, such as deck chairs or tables, can transform your outdoor space on weekends or when entertaining.

Use oversized mirrors to fill blank walls either side of a verandah. It provide reflective light and brightens up the area. Even one mirror will make a huge difference particularly on the wall where you face sitting on the sofa internally.
We recommend black planter boxes and fill them with tropical star jasmine. Planters define the space, even if you only use them on each end of a balcony. If you don't have a green finger use faux buxis.
Small pot plants filled with different style of plants & large no's of them, clutters a space very quickly. We recommend maximum 2 sizes of pots or baskets & plants.
Decorate in a series - 3s, 4s or 5s depending on the size of your space.
