Preserving Communities of Color Annual Conference

Thursday, October 31- November 2, 2019
Doctors for Change is co-hosting day two of the Preserving Communities of Color Conference. Join us as we discuss the impacts of implicit bias and structural racism on health, housing, and environment. Discussions will focus on threats to the quality of life in communities of color including environmental threats such as pollution as well as intrusive divisions created by railroads and freeways. We will discuss health equity and the need for more culturally competent health services. And finally, we will discuss the state of housing in communities of color.
