Migration Security Map of Ukraine 2016. Europe without Barriers, International Renaissance Foundation

The Migration Security Map shows the latest trends of Ukrainian migration to the EU in November 2016 and highlights the expected impact of the visa free regime on Ukraine's migration flows to the EU. The paper includes also the evaluation of regular and irregular migration from Ukraine to the EU as well the number of asylum seekers.

«Pingpong» between NAPC and Ministry of Justice obstructs audit of electronic declarations. Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation

On the 19th of January the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine claimed that the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) once again ignored its remarks on the procedure for audit of e-declarations. In this regard, the Ministry of Justice refused to register certain documents prepared by the NAPC without which it cannot start checking declarations. The supposed conflict is suspected to be a well-orchestrated game to postpone the audit. The main question is: what can facilitate the beginning of qualitative and timely review?

Experts of leading European think tanks together with representatives of governmental institutions discussed on the 26th of January 2017 at Bruegel the role of think tanks in today's post-truth environment, where facts are not available to everyone. Executive Director of the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office participated in the panel discussion, having noted that the quality of research is the key to everything.
