My Life Growing Up Asian in America is a captivating collection of poetry, essays, and comics told by 28 individuals from various backgrounds as they navigate identity in the United States. Stories run the gamut: stereotypes of being the "model minority," encountering sexism, racism, and other -isms to celebrating family, culture, and simply being American. Featuring stories from Ellen K. Pao (former CEO of Reddit), Amna Nawaz (PBS NewsHour), and Melissa de la Cruz (best-selling author). Adult Nonfiction

Bring your latest spinning, knitting, or crochet project. Trade tips and laughs. All are welcome.
  • Kids' Makerspace, Thursdays, 3 to 5 pm
Join us for our low-tech makerspace. We'll use motors, batteries, tape, glue guns, recycled stuff, clothes pins, and more. Imagine what you can create and make it happen!   • Dungeons & Dragons for Kids, Saturdays, Noon to 2 pm
Join our growing group of adventurers! Crawl dungeons, slay monsters, and flee with treasures.
