This virtual QWEL CEU course is specifically designed for Aspen's QWEL graduates. When you complete the 2hr training, your CEUs will automatically be submitted and your QWEL certification will be renewed for another year.
Instructors will review the basic concepts of distribution uniformity and irrigation auditing covered in the QWEL course and then describe the tools and strategies available to landscape and irrigation professionals to improve system efficiency and reduce landscape water use. Aspen Utilities staff will also be on-hand to discuss how this pertains to the City's Water Efficient Landscape Standards. Students should come prepared with questions and to share their experiences and lessons learned from working to improve irrigation system efficiency.
The City of Aspen will host its 3rd Annual QWEL Training virtually from November 16th - 20th. If you have a colleague or friend who would benefit from participating in the QWEL Training, we hope you'll encourage them to attend the course. This course will be conducted entirely remotely including exam and irrigation audit. Registration is now open.
Complete your Continuing Education Units!
To maintain your QWEL certification, you must complete and submit two CEUs annually (before January 2021). Submit your CEUs on your QWEL Professional Page.
