Catholic Newman Center
at the University of Houston
Dear Catholic Coogs, families and friends,

Peace in the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

2020 has been a tough year for all of us, especially for students on the UH campus, in the Houston metro area, around the U.S. and the world. As Catholic Coogs and the Catholic Newman Center team, we have been able to keep our ministry going strong and successfully adapt to virtual activities and outreach. Even though the Newman Center was closed for several months and was rather quiet during the fall semester, much work has taken place to improve the Center, especially the following:
Installation of new air conditioning unit at UH Catholic Newman Center in early August
New hot water heater hoisted into place in early October
Out with the old water heater and in with the new
Installation of electrical transformer in late October to safeguard new air conditioning unit
New transformer
All of these projects represent a significant investment in our facility and ministry by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. The Archdiocese believes in our important ministry and presence on the University of Houston campus. We know you believe in us as well and hope you will seriously consider supporting our mission and needs. Making a donation is as easy as clicking the graphic below. All contributions are duly recorded and tax letters will be provided to donors. Thank you!

Rest assured of my prayers and remembrances of your needs and petitions at our weekday and Sunday Masses.

God bless,
Padre Charlie
