Art Fundraiser

Your children will be working on a drawing in school that will then be sent home with an order form. You have the option of then purchasing their unique artwork in the form of a note card set, shadowbox, notepad, stickers, address labels and/or gift tags. Sample items will be shown at both BTS nights (they were also at the Expo). Thinking of holiday gifts? Items will be in by the beginning of December! Any questions, you can contact Beth Alon at .
Look for the picture and order form coming home in your child's backpack. You must return the artwork with the order form so it can be transformed into the products!

BTS Picnic

Pack your dinner and bring a blanket and join us on the QH playground this Friday, September 20th from 5:30-7:30pm. A DJ will be there for entertainment and Rita's Water Ice available for purchase.

Directory Deadline—Friday

The deadline for submitting Directory forms is this Friday, September 20, 2019.  NO forms will be accepted after the deadline. Membership and directory forms have been distributed in the back to school packet at the expo or sent home with your child.  To view and print out a form if needed, go to this link.
You can also stop by the membership table at BTS Nights!

STEM Fair Volunteers Needed

We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with the 2020 STEM Fair.  The STEM Fair will take place on February 7, 2020 and the planning begins in November.  There are a variety of positions available with differing levels of commitment.  In particular, we need assistance with soliciting donations and individuals with a STEM background who would be willing to be a Science Greeter or run a demonstration on the night of the event.  If you are interested in volunteering please contact or

Girls on the Run

We’re excited that Quarry Hill will host a Girls on the Run team again this fall.  Girls on the Run is a program that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy & confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum, which creatively integrates running.
Registration is now open to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade girls.  Participants will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning September 17th.

If you have questions, please contact Quarry Hill Coach

Enrichment Update

The PTO has been getting a lot of questions about Enrichment classes. Due to policy changes, building usage fees, liability issues, among other things, the PTO and Mr. Rebh are working with the school board to figure out how to handle enrichment classes. Once things are cleared up, we can begin enrichment classes.

Back To School Nights for all Parents--New Format

Mr. Rebh will be doing a meet and greet in the bus dock lobby from 4:30pm-6:30pm. Specialists will be in their rooms/gym from 6-6:30pm for parents to meet. At 6:30pm, teachers will begin their presentations. At 7:15pm, an "all call" will be made so that the teachers can meet for a brief faculty meeting in the library with Mr. Rebh. Parents should be exiting at that time.

Attached, please view this link to his presentation in case you did not receive it in the email earlier this week. It is very helpful to watch this before BTS Night.
Also, please see this link to see which specialists will be attending which BTS Night.

Please Help the PTO Grow

The annual membership donation for the 2019-2020 school year is $15. Payment in the form of cash or check (payable to Quarry Hill PTO) will be accepted. This can be sent into school with your child. Membership does not mean you need to volunteer or sign up for events (although we would love any help you can give!). Membership is a way for us to collect much needed funds for us to run events like STEM Fair, various assemblies, and purchase equipment for the school. You can become a member at any point during the school year! A membership table will be at the BTS Nights starting at 6pm. Click here for the form.

Volunteer Clearances
