Dear Quarry Hill,

The 4th grade MG class is working with the Philadelphia Zoo to help save the Golden Lion Tamarin. They are an endangered animal. We are trying to raise money so we can preserve more land for the Golden Lion Tamarin. We are also starting a project to make people aware of how to recycle pizza boxes correctly by designing, making, and distributing stickers to several local pizza shops. We are going to hold a fundraiser next drop-off pick-up day to help with these events. There will be a box where you can put your donations in. We are going to try to donate $1,000 to the GLT foundation which will preserve 8,333 sq feet of land to the Golden Lion Tamarin. Look for more information about our projects in the next few weeks. CHESS Class for Quarry Hill Students

About the Chess Coach:
Bela Kis is a full time Chess Teacher and has been Head Coach at New Hope Academy since 2006, where he led the chess team to many victories at State and National levels. He participated in many chess tournaments and became PA State Quick Chess Champion. He also won the World Open U2200 section and the North American Open U2300. To share his life passion, National Life Master Kis affiliated Lower Bucks Chess Academy with the United State Chess Federation where students take chess classes, compete in tournaments and participate in Summer camps.

District Health Plan and COVID Data

Some have asked where to find the Pennsbury Health Plan as well as the "counts" in our district. Here is the link to the page available on the Pennsbury website.

Don't forget to scan those receipts for Box Tops! You must scan your receipt within 14 days for us to get credit. Do you do curbside pick up or have receipts that can't be scanned? Please email Box Tops receipts@boxtops4education.com to receive credit!

Also, remember we collect McCaffrey's Receipts (please scan first for Box Tops as we don't scan them once collected). Those are the only receipts we collect. You can place them in a baggie and hand them in during the next materials pick up/drop off.
