Some Updates...

News for the building is that the insulation has been manufactured and delivered! So we pray that by next month the sides and roof will be on. Please pray for good weather, ample help, and the next parts of the project in the planning stages.

Open house went great! The weather was nice, the food was great, everyone had fun, and lots of new faces showed up! Thank you to all the groups and volunteers who came out to help! Real Life Church from Three Oaks, Michigan, and Grace Community Church from Allentown were here to help. This year a group of international college students came out for the day before open house to help set up the event. Our attendance estimate for the event was 450-500 people!

Here is one really cool story that happened at open house. One of our service trucks is a 1978 Ford F-150. We put it in the car show just because it's a pretty cool old truck. Well, it ended up winning the people's choice award! Just so happened the guy who donated the truck to CMTS was in the crowd. So we gave him the prize of a socket set because it was his truck. He was pretty surprised and happy about the whole thing.

We have two roll back tow trucks at CMTS to pick up and move all the donated cars. Well, over the winter one of them blew its transmission. A week ago our other broke its main cylinder on the bed, so we have no rollback. Please pray that God supplies the manpower and parts to fix both trucks.

Andy left to go to Belize and will be there till mid August. He is trying to sell some of the trucks that were sent there carrying supplies down. He is also trying to organize things at the center in preparation for January's missions trip. Last night Hurricane Earl hit CMTS Belize, which is located in the Cayo district. Andy and staff there are doing well. No power, internet or transportation is available. Even though Hurricane Earl is now gone, all waterways are now rising and roads are still flooding, making travel impossible. CMTS Belize sustained some damage, but we won't know more until communication improves. For updates please see our Facebook page:

Ministry Spotlight:
Training and Discipleship

A ministry opportunity has emerged that we were not even thinking about or advertising. It started about 4 years ago when a parent contacted Stephen about her son coming out to the ministry a few times a week to work in the Auto Shop. He was homeschooled and used the training as part of his portfolio. After graduation things ran its course and he stopped coming. A year later a different parent did the same thing. This student was between home and private school. So over a two-year period he came out different times based on school. After his graduation he also moved on. Over the summer three middle school students are coming out a few times a week to help out in the shop. In the fall YWAM in Lebanon wants to learn the basics of the auto shop. This is a incredible opportunity and everyone involved is being blessed by the extra help and willing hearts. Seems God is using CMTS to help train the next generation of missionaries for their vocations in his service.
