AAGIS Happy Hour!
Wednesday, September 30 | The Hoppy Monk

5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us on September 30 for some networking and a good time!  Whether you do GIS, are interested in learning GIS, or have a general idea of what "GIS" stands for, this is the place for you to come out and meet some new people.  Festivities will begin at 5:30 and will end whenever the last GISer decides to call it quits.

The Hoppy Monk is located at 1010 N Loope 1604 E.  See the map below.  We looking forward to seeing you!

A Letter from the President

AAGIS Members and Friends,

I am excited to have the opportunity to serve as the 2015 – 2016 President of Alamo Area GIS!  We have already had many exciting events since the summer and plan to have many more before the year is out.

The board’s goal this year is to increase membership and participation by providing venues that facilitate networking and knowledge sharing.

This newsletter provides you with the latest information including an upcoming happy hour as well as information on our upcoming GIS Day event where volunteers are needed to organize and run this exciting learning opportunity for students.

Over the course of this year you will notice some changes that I hope will help increase involvement and I challenge you to provide the board with any new ideas.  This is your organization and I am thankful for the opportunity to lead us through another successful year.

Sincerely,

Santiago Jaramillo
AAGIS President
