AAGIS Happy Hour!
Wednesday, February 17 | The Esquire

6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Our monthly get-together for February will be a Happy Hour at The Esquire in downtown San Antonio.  Meet some new people that love GIS just as much as you do!  Share both success and horror stories with your colleagues over some delicious drinks.  Our last event was a great time, and we know this one will be too.  Come on out!

A Letter from the President

AAGIS Members and Friends,
Welcome to 2016!  2015 was a great year where we were able to network during happy hour, listen to colleagues present over delicious lunch, and teach young students about the geospatial industry.  In 2016 we are keeping up this momentum by adding more ways of being involved, so make sure that you keep up with our latest news for exciting GIS opportunities!

GIS Day was a huge success this year with over 500 students, 3 classrooms, surveying station, and over 25 vendors.  THANK YOU to everyone or your hard work in making this day a success!   GIS Day 2016 is going to come quickly, so I encourage you to be thinking of new ideas and ways that you can help.  We will have more information on this next month, so keep an eye out for the newsletter.

There are many opportunities to be involved and I encourage you to be a part in any capacity that you are able.  This is your organization and we look forward to seeing you at this month’s happy hour.

Sincerely,

Santiago Jaramillo
AAGIS President
