WELCOME!

After hearing from thousands of people across Arizona, we've developed a unique set of programs designed to address unmet needs - programs promoting the daily health and well being of those we serve. Our goal is to develop fresh programs that keep you inspired, engaged and help you remember that you are not alone. We are excited to share a new form of service delivery. As aptly described by our friends in this photo, Parkinson disease is a team sport - and we're on your team!

Rather than simply replicate already existing activities offered by other organizations, PMDAlliance delivers high impact programs that offer significant, meaningful and holistic support to people in Arizona living with Parkinson disease and other movement disorders. With the tremendous leadership of an active board of directors and enthusiastic support from program sponsors and donors, Sarah Jones, Executive Director, and Judy Talley, Program Director, have brought their extensive experience and skills to PMDAlliance. We're now focused on creating programs and events that promote making every day the best it can be.

There are many Parkinson organizations.  As an Alliance you can count on us to be a hub of information.  You can now click on our site and see support groups from around the state, regardless of affiliation.  We are partnering with other organizations to coordinate schedules and collaborate.

Committed to not duplicating services, we are laser focused on meeting unmet needs. Dr. Maria Ospina said it well:

“It isn’t easy to meet the wellness and daily life needs of people with Parkinson disease. I see patients from around the state and am aware of the lack of resources, exercise and support in many communities. What a gift to have an organization that is focused exclusively on filling those unmet needs! I’m thrilled to put my passion behind the good work of this organization as it serves the people of Arizona!"
Stay connected with us, we're just getting started.
Together we will create a new reality of what it's like to LIVE with PD!

We look forward to meeting you at one of our events and getting to know you!
We are here for you!

IN SYNC!
Connecting Groups Statewide
Support groups leaders across the state don't receive the support they so richly deserve. Twice yearly, our InSync! program convenes leaders from across the state in a two-day consortium to learn from each other, share resources and hear from experts.  They return to their tremendously valuable volunteer work inspired and energized.
If you lead a group, please let us know by emailing us at info@PMDAlliance.org. The first InSync! consortium is February 25 - 26th. To learn more about this program click here
