Cultural Plan Updates: Spring 2021


Our Community Plan: Activated

Hundreds of individuals and community organizations have begun the work of implementing the 10 priorities our community set for itself in the Cultural Plan. These partners, with support and leadership from ArtsNow, are Implementing, Exploring, Expanding, and Promoting the vision for our community.

Access For All

Arts & Culture DEIA Advisory Council for Summit County

With guidance from diversity, equity, inclusion, and access (DEIA) leader Dr. Marlon Moore and support from ArtsNow, Summit County now has an arts and culture DEIA advisory committee with stakeholders from across sectors. Learn more >

Black Artist Guild Kick-Offs with Three Organizational Events

The Black Artist Guild, an idea first named by Dara Harper in the community-wide cultural planning processes is well underway. The Guild kicked off in February and held two events with national arts leaders Lisa Scails and Theaster Gates. Watch the video update >
