On May 27th, long-time leader of Americans for the Arts Bob Lynch, retired after having been on administrative leave since December of last year following allegations of a hostile workplace and racial inequity. On June 7th, AFTA Board Chair, Julie Muraco published a public letter addressing the accusations, investigation, and future of the national organization. Now, the Arts Education Advisory Council now known as the Progressive Arts Education Coalition has posted a response to recent AFTA events.
