You will learn:
  • The difference between cool-season crops and warm-season crops
  • Benefits of growing vegetables year-round 
  • Vegetables that are best suited for growing during warm season
  • Vegetables that are best suited for growing during cool season
  • When to sow seeds or put transplants in the garden 
  • Protecting plants from adverse weather conditions

Garden Wilding: Restore Ecological Function for Wildlife and People
Every garden can be a haven for people and wildlife

You will learn a process-led approach to restore ecological function which include these steps:
  • Combine native plants with ornamentals
  • Create shelter suited to the wildlife you want to attract
  • Provide food and nests for birds, bees, bats, butterflies and other creatures
  • Learn which water features can be used by which species. One size does not fit all!
  • Build in features for extreme weather conditions
