We are excited to announce the arrival of the newest member to our team! She will be joining the Evolution Pilates & Activate Physio team from the 20th January 2020.
Lucy has a strong interest in dance and will be seeing clients at both Annandale and McDonald College locations! Please make her welcome! She will be working with Susie and other instructors over the next month, then heading into the studio and hands on physio work very soon!
Lucy has graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, after a year of health science
Lucy completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University, Albury, after a year of health science study. She enjoyed a variety of clinical settings at Barwon Health (Geelong) encompassing women's health, cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal and vestibular/neurological physiotherapy.
Lucy has a strong interest in sporting injuries and worked as the Head Sports Trainer at an amateur AFL team for 2 seasons. Lucy believes that the key to effective rehabilitation and future injury prevention is to empower patients to take control of their own health.
With a 10 year background of full-time ballet training, Lucy has gained an in-depth understanding of the demands on the body that occur and what it takes to become a successful dancer. She has a keen interest in dance rehabilitation and injury prevention.
Having recently moved to Sydney she is on the hunt for the best hiking locations. Otherwise, in her spare time, she enjoys staying fit, spending time at the beach and with friends.
