We do need 2 or 3 volunteers both mornings from 8:00-12:30 on Tuesday and 11:00 on Wednesday.

First of all, let me say: Thank you. Thank you for your tireless support of your child here at Proctor Terrace. Through fundraisers, parent-teacher meetings, school sports, after-school activities, and everything else that happens in the course of a school year, you have shown your commitment to giving your child the best possible education.

As you are all aware Proctor Terrace has fundraisers throughout the school year to pay for things that are not fully covered by the school budget:

garden coordinator and supplies
field trips and transportation
art docent
chromebooks and charging cart
classroom enrichment
annual play and more

We have decided to ask if each family could contribute $200 per student to help make up for where our budget has fallen short due to lack of fundraising and the recent natural disaster that affected our community.

Girls on the Run is an afterschool program like no other! Twice per week for 10 weeks, girls in 3rd-5th grade will have fun, make friends, increase their physical activity levels and learn important life skills.

Thank you so much!

We have two great coaches who are from the Santa Rosa Community.

Alison Zander, from Santa Rosa is a former coach and GOTRSC board member who had to take some time off from coaching because of her work, but now has the flexibility to coach and wanted to come back!

Nadya Mool, from Oakmont is another community member who while hasn't coached with Girls on the Run, has extensive volunteering experience and has worked with children throughout..she is also a grandmother who wants to be active in her community and believes in empowering young girls.

Both have gone through the Girls on the Run coach training and are SUPER excited to become part of the PT family and help empower the girls at your school!

Trained and caring coaches lead the grade girls through interactive lessons and running activities. The season ends with a noncompetitive 5K event.
