As 2020 comes to a close, we have a lot to reflect on, but there’s one sentiment that rises above the rest: Gratitude. We’re grateful for Teachers who give students their all day after day, for the grownups who devote time and effort (and occasional tears) to making distance learning work, for students who continue to be resilient and for our ability to still connect as a Proctor Terrace community.
We’ve made it through this year thanks to the selfless efforts of many in our community. Our school community is full of first responders, health care staff, essential workers and all of YOU who are doing your part to keep all of US safe and healthy. Thank you for showing up (by staying home), wearing your mask and being a role model for others.
We recognize 2020 has been difficult for many and we want to give back and support where we can. Please consider participating in the on-campus Redwood Empire Food DriveNovember 29 – December 11. Donate non-perishable food items when you are visit Proctor Terrace for Picture Day or another day.
If you would like to make a financial donation to directly support our school, please consider participating in the FamilyGivingcampaign. All donations will go toward curriculum enrichment and continuing our support for the garden program. Many teachers have already leveraged PTA funding for virtual field trips from Pepperwood Preserve and others, to purchase ‘send home supplies’ for students to support the unique learning projects this year, and our garden will continue to be a magical space for our students in coming years.
