Help In Time of Need Is Always Provided!

Recently, I requested the help from the Ministry of "Hearts of Hope." We were in need of some men and a truck to do some heavy lifting and furniture delivery.

They did fantastic work and I appreciated all that was done. This in itself was a huge blessing and answered prayer. We were able to feed them some lunch, donated pizza.

As I sat with them, I explained that the ministry of RVCLC helps people reach their goals and move forward to a better changed life. I then asked them if they wanted to share their testimonies with me. I was overjoyed to learn that they all had recently experienced salvation, and their lives were still being changed for their good. I was very impressed with the help they were receiving at "Hearts of Hope."

I asked if I could take a picture of them and mention them on Facebook and speak about how they came to help us. They were all happy to oblige me and one of the men said, "It would be the first picture ever showing him doing something good in his life." We all laughed because he said it jokingly but I've been pondering how proudly he spoke and he was the first one to share his testimony about what Christ has done for him.

Each one of them was eager to be helpful to this Ministry. It was absolutely wonderful to be among 6 joyful new believers. This experience took my thoughts back to the word of God. Many times in the New Testament you will find words spoken about being a new creature in Christ. "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are becoming new." 2 Corinthians 5:17

Please take note of our upcoming Gala and consider purchasing tickets and also sharing this opportunity with your friends and family please.

Please help us pray for our Christian Men's Job Corps here at RVCLC. They are in desperate need for men who will be mentors. We know that God has called a man to be a (Site Coordinator) leader and we are patiently waiting for him to step forward to fill this need. God continues to show his grace and love to all of us here at RVCLC. We want to honor Him and bring glory to His name.

Some of our current needs are for:
Mentors
Mentors to turn in their paperwork
A Baby Crib
Household Cleaning Supplies
Laundry Supplies
Household Furniture (Beds, dressers, sofas, dinning table and chairs, desks, lamps etc...)

Our current praises are:
Many salvations, including one today
Job offers and opportunities
Continued provisions financially

For His Glory,

Linda P
