Mountain Goats - Beat The Champ [back in stock!]

2015 release from the veteran indie folk band led by John Darnielle. “Beat the Champ is about professional wrestling, which was an avenue of escape for me when I was a kid. Wrestling was low-budget working class entertainment back then, strictly UHF material. It was cheap theater."
Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings
"It's A Holiday Soul Party"
 [back in stock!]
Iconic guitarist, songwriter, vocalist and three-time Grammy-Award winner Brian Setzer and The Brian Setzer Orchestra will release Rockin' Rudolph - their first studio Christmas album in 10 years - in October 2015 via Surfdog Records. The 18-piece band will support the album with a major concert tour, the "12th Annual Christmas Rocks! Tour," delivering the rocking and colorful holiday extravaganza they're known for
Grimes
"Art Angels"
  • Spanning over 14 tracks, this 2015 album from the Canadian-born singer/songwriter features collaborations with Janelle Monáe and newcomer, Taiwanese rapper Aristophanes. It was recorded primarily in her home studio in Los Angeles, CA, where she relocated to in 2014. Like all of her previous albums, Art Angels was written and recorded entirely as a solo endeavor.
Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats
Limited vinyl LP pressing. 2015 release from the Denver-based outfit. Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats practically explodes with deep, primal and ecstatic soulfulness. You don't just listen to this record-you experience it. So it's fitting that the self-titled album will bear the iconic logo of Stax Records, because at certain moments Rateliff seems to be channeling soul greats like Otis Redding and Sam & Dave.

Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats
Boy this is a fun one. Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats video for SOB i is an old school rock & roll treat. A ton of energy, and soul are in this powerhouse of an album. Come pick up this great record for the holidays and have a cup of Nicoletti Coffee.
